STEM Show and Tell

Earlier this year we presented our STEM work to the other pods in our classrooms due to Covid restrictions. We held a Science Fair on April 28th.

Working with Lego-Wedo we made a car and a fan that we programmed using the Ipads.

We made an electric circuit that lit a bulb and we made a circuit for a fan.

STEM Show and Tell

During Science Week 2020, pupils took part in a Science showcase with a difference - The older pupils presented their Science work via Zoom! 5th and 6th Class pupils prepared various Science experiments at home and they carried them out while Ms. Gallagher's and Ms. Nolan's classes watched onscreen in their own classrooms! The younger pupils loved the chance to watch the older pupils and ask questions and they learned lots from watching their peers.
